Registration Process
Advance Registration
- Start Date: April 15, 2024.
- Offline Mode: Register through designated bank branches (SBI, JK Bank, Yes Bank, PNB).
- Online Mode: Register online on the official Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board website.
Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC)
- Obtain a CHC from authorized doctors or institutions. This certificate is mandatory for registration.

How to Reach the Amarnath Shrine
The Holy Amarnathji Shrine is located in the Kashmir Himalayas and can be reached via two main routes:
Pahalgam Route (32 km)
- Base Camp: Nunwan, near Pahalgam in Anantnag District, approximately 90 km from Srinagar.

- Pahalgam to Holy Cave: Key points include Chandanwari, Pissu Top, Sheshnag, and Panchtarni.
Jammu - Baltal - Holy Cave
- Jammu to Baltal via Srinagar
- Baltal to Holy Cave (14 km steep trek): Suitable for the very fit, with options to hire ponies or palkis.

Accommodation

Do's & Don'ts for a Safe Yatra
Do's:
- Wear the RFID card around your neck during the entire Yatra.
- Carry your RFID card at all times.
- Ensure you have collected your RFID card from designated centers after biometric authentication.
- Obtain a valid CHC before registering.
- Register through authorized channels and carry necessary documents.
- Prepare physically by walking, exercising, and hydrating well.
